Learning the alphabet is crucial for early literacy. This app helps children quickly learn letters and sounds, accelerating their reading development. It offers two voiceovers: sounds and letters, both in Russian.

Optimal learning ages range from 4-6 years old, but capable children as young as 3 can benefit, ideally starting a year before school. We recommend beginning with vowels (A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo, E, Yu, Ya – 10 in total). These are easier to pronounce and learn. (Initially focus on 6 vowel sounds: A, O, U, Y, I, E; then introduce the 4 vowel letters formed by combining sounds: E = Y + O; E = Y + E; Yu = Y + U; Ya = Y + A). The game also differentiates between vowels with and without drums .

Next, introduce consonants: B, V, G, D, ZH, Z, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, X, Ts, Ch, Sh, Shch (21 in total), plus the two auxiliary letters ъ and ь. The Russian alphabet contains 33 letters.
